Terms of Use (Make Games Possible)
1. Free software
Make Games Possible is free of charge and nothing in it is locked. It shows a card for the developer’s other Steam product; the card and its optional intro video unlock nothing.
2. Estimates only
Compatibility verdicts, expected presets and frame-rate ranges are estimates derived from publicly listed system requirements and the developer’s own hardware tier table. They are not guarantees. Actual performance depends on drivers, thermals, background software and the game’s own updates.
3. No hardware-risk features
The app never overclocks, undervolts, or modifies firmware or game files. Power-plan and process-priority changes are standard Windows settings and are reversible from inside the app.
4. Your responsibility
You decide whether to apply a performance mode. Restore the original settings before troubleshooting unrelated issues.
5. Silent apply
If you enable it, the app registers a Windows Scheduled Task (MakeGamesPossible\ApplyPerf) that runs with administrator rights on demand. It executes only a script installed in an administrator-only folder and can do nothing except switch between Windows power plans and set a processor percentage. You may remove it at any time from inside the app or from Task Scheduler.
6. Clipboard feature
“Check before you buy” is off by default. When you turn it on, the app looks at clipboard text on this computer only, to recognize Steam store links. See the Privacy Policy for details.
7. Trademarks
Game names and Steam are trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to identify the products. This app is not affiliated with or endorsed by Valve Corporation or any game publisher.
8. No warranty
The software is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any damage arising from its use.
